摘要: Frequency can be measured with far higher accuracy than any other quantity. Dual mode excitation of resonators allows the highly accurate measurement of, and compensation for, effects temperature, pressure, etc., by means frequency measurements alone. In dual excitation, two excited modes occupy same volume quartz, thereby eliminating gradients between resonator sensor. This paper reviews dual-mode technique its applications in oscillators, clocks sensors.
