摘要: Abstract An enzyme activity which converts human big endothelin (1–38) to (1–21) and a C-terminal fragment (CTF, 22–38) was identified in plasma membrane fraction prepared from rat lung. The conversion optimal at pH 4.0, inhibited by Pepstatin-A (IC 50 = 20 nM), but not affected TLCK, Aprotinin, PMSF, E-64, Bestatin, Phosphoramidon or Thiorphan 40 μM. Metal ions activated the 1.5 – 2.5 fold order of Mn +2 > Zn Ca Ba . These data suggest that inhibitable, metal ion related aspartic protease may be involved
