摘要: Abstract For years, researchers have tried to explain predictive features of psychopathic behavior and externalizing personality traits (Stupperich & Strack, 2016). Among this list is animal abuse. Although abuse commonly linked with psychopathy, previous studies provided mixed results regarding relationship its (Arluke Madfis, 2014; Ascione Shapiro, 2009). The debate on has led questions about whether could a stronger connection particular facet rather than the broader construct (Dadds, Whiting, Hawes, 2006). Therefore, literature calls for examination possible link between as well other traits, which current study aims assess. We examined measured by Psychopathy Checklist- Short Version (PCL:SV; Hart, Cox, Hare, 1995), self-reported history perpetration in sample 214 jail inmates. Analyses indicated individuals who endorsed scored significantly higher non-abusers PCL:SV total score. Indeed, also suggested significant differences across facets psychopathy. Regarding pathology, did not show any association domains pathology.
