摘要: Aim: The objective of this study was to determine the accuracy ultrasonographic measurement amniochorionic membrane thickness (AMT) in prediction preterm birth among an asymptomatic pregnant population. Methods: One hundred and ninety consecutive singleton women presenting for prenatal care between May 2010 August 2011 were recruited study. AMT patients measured once 18 22 weeks gestation then again 28 32 with transabdominal ultrasound. results measurements recorded compared perinatal outcome related prematurity. Results: Thirteen 190 births preterm. mean who delivered at term 0.79 0.23 mm second trimester 0.88 0.27 third trimester. 0.77 0.91 0.20 There no statistically significant differences delivery group (P = 0.542 P 0.448, respectively). Conclusion: In study, fetal membranes not found be a useful marker birth. findings our may help understanding changes normal pregnancies.
