摘要: Laser in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) can affect corneal sensation, aqueous tear production, wound healing, and the incidence of erosions. Virtually all patients experience dry eye at least transiently after LASIK. Because intact sensation drives denervation associated with LASIK procedure is most significant cause post-LASIK eye. To prevent symptomatic postoperative eye, it crucial to identify treat pre-existing before surgery. This review addresses pathophysiology management as well relationship between erosions, suggests intra- post-operative techniques minimize complications maximize stability ocular surface. Contraindications alternative refractive surgical procedures are discussed.
