Ferroelectric, pyroelectric and piezoelectric studies in Ba 5 SmTi 3 Nb 7 O 30 ceramic

摘要: In the present work, polycrystalline sample of Ba 5 SmTi 3 Nb 7 O 30 , a member tungsten bronze family, was prepared by solid-state reaction method and studied for their ferroelectric, pyroelectric piezoelectric properties. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis reveals formation single-phase compound with an orthorhombic structure. The grain morphology has been investigated scanning electron microscopy. average size is observed to be in range 2 µm. temperature variations polarization—electric field (P-E) loops have reported. remanent polarization (2P r ) value found ∼ 2.3 µC/cm2 at room temperature. variation coefficient Pyroelectric figure merit calculated from coefficients. Piezoelectric coefficients (d 33 g also measured.
