摘要: To understand changes in biodiversity, we must take into consideration at least the effects of global warming like increased droughts, shift plant phenology with lengthened vegetation period, and possibility that alien species might benefit from them. For better predictions whether non-native could change turn invasive chose to study Aster squamatus, is already present Slovenia currently regarded as non-invasive. We studied species’ reproductive success micro-scale habitat properties. Results show high potential A. squamatus it necessary constrain accumulation seeds soil seed bank for future invasions. According properties, especially C:N ratio, can regard an engineering species, fertilising its own habitat. Climate change, prolonging would enable more biomass followed by rapid decomposition. Released nutrients be used fast-growing start their development slightly later season than early spring which begin grow utilising storage organs. In such cases adapted management needed.
