摘要: All three viscometric functions are investigated as a function of shear rate for lyotropic solutions hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC). Through the use m‐cresol solvent, it was possible to investigate liquid crystal at lower polymer volume fractions than have previously been studied HPC. We find no evidence three‐region viscosity curve, has widely reported HPC higher fractions. The first and second normal stress differences (N1 N2, respectively) both change sign twice is varied.
