摘要: Abstract Due to the characteristics of lithology and complexity geomorphology, karst areas Southwest China are experiencing severe soil erosion. Knowledge effects geomorphology on sediment yield therefore essential for developing measures effectively control delivery in this region. The objective study was investigate relative importance lithological geomorphological factors 40 selected mountainous catchments China. Because high co-dependence these variables, a partial least squares regression (PLSR) model used explore quantitative relationships between annual 30 factors. Results showed that were critically important could explain 65.9% total variance yield. dominant controlling coverage, drainage density, basin relief, plane curvature, elevation, maximum average slope, dolomite catchment area. This or contributions provides good reference selecting key when erosion models. yields greater understanding influences yield, is helpful better management regions.
