摘要: A cell growth inhibitory effect of drupanin and baccharin, ingredients propolis, was found in human cancer lines. These compounds induced apoptosis the cells characterized by morphological nucleosomal DNA fragmentation analysis. Their effects were less potent compared with that artepillin C, which is a known anticancer compound from propolis. Importantly, HL60 more sensitive to than Con A-stimulated peripheral blood lymphocytes, whereas potency C opposite drupanin.
