Direct Transformation of Living Anionic Polymerization into RAFT-Based Polymerization

摘要: A method of direct switching from anionic polymerization into RAFT-based was developed. The transformation involved in situ addition living carbanionic species, end-capped with DPE, toward CS2 and subsequent reaction alkyl bromides, resulting macro-RAFT agents (macro-CTAs). macro-CTAs were used to mediate RAFT (functional) vinyl monomers. These processes performed a continuous way without isolation the intermediate.
