摘要: Biodegradable, porous, polymeric implant material provides substantially continuous release of bioactive agent during in vivo use. Bioactive is initially released amounts that are less than degradation rate polymer, thereby promoting migration cells into material. Later larger released, differentiation cells. Method making includes step applying vacuum to form pores. Implant may be adapted for one phase (e.g., bone or cartilage) two layered cartilage layer on top layer).
