摘要: Residence times were studied for single particles (polystyrene spheres 19.1 mm diam) in the straight portion of holding section a continuous flow system. Particle residence all less than mean time fluid; their ranges within particle-to-fluid ratios 0.8 to 1.0. The velocities fastest moving about 1.25 fluid velocity turbulent regime. density was important patterns two-phase flow. effect on particle followed quadratic function where with ratio 1.01 had least time.
