摘要: Abstract Railway structures such as rails and axles are safety relevant components since any failure includes the risk of catastrophic derailment. This paper gives a brief overview on most important potential scenarios driven by fatigue crack initiation propagation discusses effects influencing factors vehicle weight speed, track quality environmental conditions. The present summarizes earlier work authors in this field.
