Novel Wavelet Transform Based Islanding Detection Algorithms

摘要: In this paper two novel discrete wavelet transform based islanding detection algorithms for distributed generation units are presented. One of the proposed is on use all phase-to-phase voltages and other negative sequence voltage. Both new methods able to detect very fast selectively near perfect power balance situations also with relatively low sampling frequencies. addition, applicable both directly converter connected units. main benefit developed related their determination calculation which enables choosing appropriate setting thresholds. Simulation results show that operate times a bit shorter method using voltage than when same timer time delays applied.
