摘要: The paper investigates to study components of seismicity and prevailing tectonic stress regimes the considered region by analyzing earthquake data that occurred during last 200 years (from 1808 2008). For purpose, northeast India Himalaya its adjoining regions have been divided into five active namely Eastern Syntaxis, Arakan-yoma fold belt, Shillong plateau, Himalayan Frontal arc Southeastern Tibet taking consideration spatial distribution complexity. minimum compressive is almost horizontal in which indicates generation process due flow materials east-west direction. regional conditions at shallower levels compression as well extension zones extend up deeper upper mantle especially southeastern region. present findings provide additional information on seismicity, tectonics, faulting pattern associated ongoing geodynamic processes
