摘要: Laboratory and field methods for determining soil hydraulic properties are time consuming expensive. An alternative approach is to use pedotransfer functions which predict various based on more readily available physical properties. Pedotransfer have been developed that operate with levels of information. Greater information yields reliable estimates any particular property. Because some the being used in not a regional scale, there need develop databases. A system described uses texture classes remotely sensed moisture dry state estimate at 800 m pixel scale.
