A qualitative study on barriers in the prevention of anaemia during pregnancy in public health centres: perceptions of Indonesian nurse-midwives

摘要: Anemia in pregnancy remains a major problem Indonesia over the past decade. Early detection of anaemia is one components which unsuccessfully implemented by nurse-midwives. This study aims to explore nurse-midwives’ experiences managing pregnant women with Public Health Centres. We conducted qualitative semi-structured face interviews from November 2011 February 2012 23 nurse-midwives five districts Yogyakarta Special Province. Data analysis was thematic, using constant comparison method, making between participants and supported ATLAS.ti software.
