摘要: In addition to latitude, elevation, and the land-sea configuration, Asian monsoon system is also a major control on climates, generating some of unique features region. Except for polar, alpine, high-latitude steppe areas, Northeast Asia consists primarily forest climates throughout. Asia, indeed East in general, show lower mean winter temperatures than other parts world at sane latitude. Extreme temperatures, however, do not fall far below means, either Siberia (high long nights) or south (protective effect least somewhat east-west mountain ranges). Three main regions can be distinguished: boreal ultra-continental eastern Siberia, monsoonal continental China Korea, maritime Japan. The prospect future climate change poses special problems due many obstacles northward migration.
