摘要: Abstract Background: In this study, we aimed to investigate whether high parathormone (PTH) levels in obese patients contribute the metabolic complications of obesity. Methods: A total 400 subjects aged 18–65 years were included. Anthropometric bioelectrical bioimpedance measures, blood tests, and 75 gram oral glucose tolerance test results evaluated. Results: Of subjects, 335 female. The mean age was 39 ± 10 years. median body mass index 36 (interquartile range 34–41). Subjects divided into quartiles according PTH levels.
