摘要: Abstract The best available external carbon source to enhance the short-cut nitrification–denitrification (SCND) and denitrifying phosphorus removal via nitrite (DPRN) was investigated using a demonstration sequencing batch reactor (SBR) treat anaerobic supernatant. SBR inoculated with conventional activated sludge fed liquid effluent from co-digestion of waste organic fraction municipal solid waste. After 20 day-long start-up, stable reliable via-nitrite pathway achieved. Then, five sources (acetic acid, glycerol, (OFMSW) fresh drainage liquid, OFMSW fermentation cattle manure maize silage (CM&MS) liquid) were investigated. Glycerol did not cause major enhancement on nutrients removal. On other hand, we found specific denitritation rates in range 0.51–1.16 kgNO2–N kgVSS−1 day−1 for CM&MS related sources. Specific consumptions 2.1 – 2.3 kgCOD kgNO 2 N rem - 1 acetic acid glycerol respectively, while involved higher ratios 2.7 3.1 . Thanks presence Short Chain Fatty Acids (SCFAs), namely butyric propionic acids, liquids contemporary enhanced DPRN up 0.81 kgPO 4 P uptaken removed use biowaste material, cost can be lower than 0.1 € kgCOD−1 when is fermented. Therefore, total nitrogen may decrease 22% used instead methanol.
