摘要: Abstract The discarded materials from different sources can be utilized as effective in wastewater remediation. This proposed study was aimed mainly to investigate the possibility of Effective Microorganisms based compost ( EM KC ), which is derived kitchen solid waste, a non-conventional low cost adsorbent for removal malachite green aqueous solution. Batch experiments were carried out evaluate optimum operating parameters like pH (2–9), initial dye concentration (50–1000 mg/L), particle size (0.6–2.36 mm) and dosage (2–12 g/L). recorded maximum uptake 136.6 mg/g MG at 8, 1000 mg/L, 1.18 mm 4 g/L. Two three parameter adsorption models employed describe experimental biosorption isotherm data. results revealed that Sips model resulted better fit than other models. pseudo-first -second order applied kinetic data, pseudo-second described data with high correlation coefficient. investigation suggested could an material
