摘要: Law and the Formation of Modern Europe provides an overview foundations modern European legal order, it explores processes construction in both national supranational domains. In its focus, examines sociological pressures which have given rise to public law, origins key transnational institutions elite motivations driving formation law. addresses questions problems assumed importance parallel fashion different societies shaped law more indirectly. Examples this are post-1914 transformation classical private corporatism, response post-1945 legacy authoritarianism, emergence human rights growth judicial review. This two-level approach generates unique insights into dynamics formation.
