摘要: This article describes a comprehensive information model for the recording of taxonomic and observation data from literature, field collecting other sources. The is based on an approach using hierarchical decomposition areas into atomic elements abstraction entity relationship model. It encompasses taxa all ranks, nothotaxa hybrid formulae, unnamed taxa, cultivars, full synonymy, misapplied names, basionyms, nomenclatural data, different concepts as well alternative taxonomies to any extent desired. can help designers biological systems avoid widely made error over-simplification resulting loss in accuracy quality.
