摘要: Abstract. The positive effects of goal setting on motivation and performance are among the most established findings industrial–organizational psychology. Accordingly, is a common management technique. Lately, however, potential negative goal-setting, for example, unethical behavior, increasingly being discussed. This research replicates extends laboratory experiment conducted in United States. In one three conditions (do-your-best goals, consistently high goals), 101 participants worked search task five rounds. Half them (transparency yes/no) were informed at outset about development.
