摘要: As a response to population ageing and in order keep public pensions affordable, the Dutch government has implemented policies encourage longer working lives. A commonly voiced concern is that social inequality old age will increase as result of policy reforms. Policies extend lives are usually across board, regardless older people’s ability, need willingness work longer. This book examines between workers couples Netherlands. The findings this reveal significant educational class disparities employment, early retirement, disability, unemployment, downward occupational mobility, reduction time, division paid partners disadvantageous late-life employment trajectories couples. More importantly, lower educated classes generally worse off than higher when it comes adverse labour market outcomes.
