摘要: Abstract Fungi of the genus Trichoderma display an outstanding adaptability to various ecological conditions and antagonism parasitism other fungi is widespread among species. Besides being able sense presence a prey fungus already from distance, which implies involvement respective cell surface receptors that respond prey-derived signals, species also biotic as well abiotic cues. The sensing integration these external signals elicitation appropriate cellular responses mediated by complex signaling systems, some have been studied in single This chapter covers major pathways including heterotrimeric G protein signaling, kinase A/cyclic AMP pathway, mitogen-activated kinases. Their common species-specific roles with special emphasis on regulation conidiation, secondary metabolite production, expression mycoparasitism-related wall-degrading enzymes infection structure formation presented.
