摘要: Summary Eighteen patients with congestive cardiomyopathy were studied by echocardiography and cardiac catheterization. Patients coronary disease on angiography or primary valvular excluded. Six showed mild no mitral regurgitation; in 12 others the degree of regurgitation was moderate severe. The echocardiographic features these were: (1) a dilated left ventricle (LV), (2) normal LV wall thickness, (3) reduced posterior motion, (4) absent systolic thickening interventricular septum (IVS). IVS motion 10 patients, appeared “normal” increased another eight, all whom severe angiography. It is concluded that an apparent evidence for coexistence significant regurgitation. Reduced candistinguish from those segmental myocardial septa LV's due to volume overload.
