Neutron diffraction study of electrostrictive coefficients of prototype cubic phase of relaxor ferroelectric PbMg1/3 Nb2/3 O3

摘要: The electrostrictive coefficients of prototype cubic phase PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3 are studied using a high-resolution neutron powder diffraction experiment. key idea the approach is to “eliminate” from material inhomogeneity related presence double-phase mixture “polar regions/nonpolar matrix,” and study two structurally homogeneous states: at temperatures above 600 K rhombohedral ferroelectric below 220 K. obtained value volumetric coefficient, Qh=(8.3±1.0)×10−2 ×(m4/C2), consistent with those other perovskite ferroelectrics phase.
