Contrast-enhanced portal magnetic resonance angiography in dogs with suspected congenital portal vascular anomalies.

摘要: Contrast-enhanced multiphase magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA) was used in 17 dogs with a suspected congenital portal vascular anomaly. Portal anomalies were identified 16 of the dogs. Eleven had single intrahepatic portocaval shunt (two central divisional, three right and six left divisional), one dog double shunt, hepatic arteriovenous malformation, complex porto-caval shunt. Two an extrahepatic portosystemic no dog. Total imaging time <10 min image quality good to excellent all CE-MRA is feasible, fast non invasive technique diagnose dogs, large field-of-view anatomic depiction abnormal vessels. Based on these results, efficient for diagnosis
