摘要: Three bichromophores were designed and synthesized by linking a vinylthiophene-conjugated chromophore with different tether groups via esterification. Second harmonic generation measurements of nonlinear polymer films revealed that the second coefficients containing bichromophore using 3-phenoxypropane-1,2-diyl succinic diester as group improved in comparison mono-chromophore-doped films. However, isophthalic ester decreased. Overall, results indicate has potential applications design synthesis multi-chromophoric dendrimers large macroscopic optical nonlinearity.
