摘要: Alcoholism treatment (AL) changes usage and/or spending on non-alcoholism (NA). Yet there has been little economic analysis of the effect AL individuals' uses health services and total care costs. Our model yields both cost impacts. A 1% increase in short-term events implies a 1.9% costs; subsequent increases costs by .6%. NA 1.3% 1.5%. Initiation directly lowers NA, but indirectly (and hence, costs) treatment. Overall, 10% leads to 9.2%
