摘要: Experience has proved that interactive applications delivered through Digital TV must provide personalized information to the viewers in order be perceived as a valuable service. Due limited computational power of DTV receivers (either domestic set-top boxes or mobile devices), most existing systems have opted place personalization engines dedicated servers, assuming return channel is always available for bidirectional communication. However, domain where transmitted broadcast, there are still many cases intermittent, sporadic null access channel. In such situations, it impossible servers learn who watching at moment, and so features become unavailable. To solve this problem without sacrificing much quality, paper introduces solutions run downsized semantic reasoning process receivers, supported by pre-selection material driven audience stereotypes head-end. Evaluation results presented prove feasibility approach, also assess quality achieves comparison with previous ones.
