摘要: Fire and browsing are two disturbance factors which greatly affect future stand development, yet the have rarely been studied together in a boreal forest environment. A good opportunity for studying combined effects of fire on development environment was provided by 1999 Tyresta National Park, where an exclosure set up shortly after fire. The objective this study to examine influence post-fire development. For purpose, tree seedlings were examined, inside outside (1 ha) burned area. areas each divided into low high fertility site. Sample plots established at these sites, inventoried 2002 2007. Dense seedling populations with average 31,000 Salix caprea 10,000 Populus tremula per ha. Results show that species composition mortality not directly influenced browsing, whereas height distribution great. Eight years fire, heights dominant P. S. nearly double fenced area compared un-fenced In order limit deciduous plants, fencing or refugia should be used.
