Positron annihilation studies in oxides

摘要: Measurements have been made on twenty oxides by conventional lifetime technique, three-photon technique and three-to-two-photon relative-yield technique. The results show that the presence of air, moisture absorbed gases affect lifetimes intensities to a great extent. Ortho-positronium in few measured found agree with theoretical value 1.4·10−7 s.
