摘要: Abstract The aim of this cross-sectional study was to investigate associations between salivary active matrix-metalloproteinase 8 (aMMP-8) and periodontitis severity, potentially periodontal pathogenic bacteria as well blood parameters in generally healthy participants. Therefore, 188 participants with a mean age 48.9 ± 8 years were examined. severity assessed based on probing depth clinical attachment loss. Both, aMMP-8 microbiological analysis performed using validated, commercially available test system. Blood values utilized from regular differential count. findings associated the (P 0.05). In conclusion, seem reflect disease result an immunoreaction, especially against high potential.
