摘要: Abstract Intracellular recordings were made from hypoglossal motoneurons during cortically-induced fictive mastication in paralyzed encephale isole cats. Repetitive stimulation of the masticatory area cerebral cortex induced rhythmical tongue movements coordinated with jaw movements. After animal was immobilized, cortical still burst activities nerve and digastric nerve. The medial lateral branches alternated rhythmically, out phase nerve, respectively. All showed intracellular potentials repetitive stimulation. depolarizing superimposed by spike bursts appeared either or branch No hyperpolarization present between consecutive potentials. Synaptic activation noise increased coincidentally potential, indicating that EPSPs involved generation potential. evidence obtained for existence IPSPs inter-depolarizing current injection. It concluded bombardment excitatory impulses to responsible activity area.
