摘要: Abstract : In the laboratory we used an idealized rotorwash flow - axisymmetric jet impinges normally on a packed bed of cohesionless particles and measured spatially varying field entrainment flux under over range exit velocities materials. We found that erosion is driven by turbulent surface shear stress, quantified kinetic energy flow. This observation differs from uniform parallel to wherein being removed depends linearly average stress fluid imposed bed. discuss implications these findings for applying general model capturing particle impinging flows.
