摘要: Abstract Simple cells, broken cells and dendrites are distinguished the conditions under which they occur described for aluminium base alloys with copper 0.2 to 10 wt% Cu. The ripening of simple behind growth front is particular reference (a) mechanisms ripening, (b) changes in scale solute distribution (c) effects orientation. It concluded that previous measurements cell dimensions on sections or from decanted interfaces, relate not actual but a post solidification re-arrangement. Changes secondary arm spacings were followed cellular dendritic morphologies. was observed while coarsened by mechanism similar coarsen an essentially different pattern only small spacings.
