Polymer based solid -state solar thermal fuels

摘要: A polymer consisting of small functional molecules can be integrated into solar thermal fuels in the solid-state for energy harvesting and storage. In certain embodiments, a storage device include one or more layers photoswitchable moieties associated with polymer. Such fuel polymers used to enable deposition from low concentration solutions, resulting uniform large-area thin-films. This approach enables conformal on variety conducting substrates that either flat structured control over film growth via electrodeposition conditions results highly thin films.
