摘要: In a vehicle navigation apparatus having control section which calculates relative positions and travel direction by dead reckoning calculations based on outputs from on-board sensors periodically acquires GPS measurement data via receiver applies error-reduction filter processing to these obtain position information for correcting the calculated positions, has function detecting that obtained contains an excessive error, when condition is detected, directly applying estimated derived data, without processing, correct corresponding estimates. Rapid correction can thereby be achieved been operated in whereby large amount of error suddenly arisen through calculation, e.g., after rotated turntable with inoperative.
