Self‐sustained plasma turbulence due to current diffusion

摘要: Plasma turbulence and anomalous transport by the electrostatic current diffusive interchange mode are studied nonlinear simulation based on magnetohydrodynamic model. The is found to have a typical characteristic of subcritical turbulence. saturation level, as function pressure gradient ∇p, confirmed scale like ‖∇p‖3/2. This nature holds independent ratio ‖∇p‖/‖∇pc‖ where ‖∇pc‖, critical against linear instability. turbulence‐driven also evaluated. result confirms theoretical prediction, which self‐sustained turbulence, with respect growth damping. Both normal cascade inverse essential in establishing stationary turbulent state.Plasma state.
