摘要: Synthetic observations are playing an increasingly important role across astrophysics, both for interpreting real and also making meaningful predictions from models. In this review, we provide overview of methods tools used generating, manipulating analysing synthetic their application to problems involving star formation the interstellar medium. We discuss some possible directions future research using observations.
