Laboratory Investigation of The Effects of Parameters Controlling Polymer Enhanced Foam (PEF) Stability

摘要: In the quest to achieve high stability foams, polymers can be used as viscosifying agents of aqueous surfactant solution external phase foam, increasing foam apparent viscosity and thus improving stability. The AOS, SDS, SDBS surfactants were foaming agent relatively low (200-5000 ppm) partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (PHPA) polymer concentrations added solutions. All solutions prepared in both fresh water 4 wt. % NaCl effect oil on PEF was investigated using paraffin vaseline with different viscosities.
