摘要: Climate change is a significant future driver of in coastal social-ecological systems. Our knowledge impacts, adaptation options, and possible outcomes for marine environments industries expanding, but remains limited uncertain. Alternative scenarios are way to explore potential futures under range conditions. We developed four alternative the Great Barrier Reef its fishing tourism positing moderate more extreme (2–3 °C above pre-industrial temperatures) warming 2050 contrasting ‘limited’ ‘ideal’ ecological social adaptation. presented these representatives key stakeholder groups assess perceived viability different options deliver desirable varied contexts.
