Effects of 60 MeV C5+ ion irradiation on PmT–PVC and p-TSA doped PoT–PVC blends

摘要: Abstract Poly(m-toluidine) (PmT) and Poly(o-toluidine) (PoT) have been synthesized from derivatives of aniline (m-toluidine), (o-toluidine) monomers by chemical oxidative polymerization method. After polymerization, PoT powder was doped with p-toluene sulphonic acid (p-TSA) the polymer powders were blended poly vinyl chloride (PVC) to achieve PmT p-TSA dispersed films. XRD, FTIR UV–visible studies carried out get their structural changes optical information. These blends irradiated 60 MeV C5+ ions different fluences. Post Irradiation spectroscopy also performed on all On PoT–PVC dc-conductivity measurements are before after irradiation. The results show modifications which lead in electrical properties.
