摘要: Solid dispersions of artemether and polyethylene glycol 6000 (PEG6000) were prepared in ratio 12 : 88 (group-1). Self-emulsified solid by using 6000, Cremophor-A25, olive oil, Transcutol, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) 12 : 75 : 5 : 4 : 2 : 2, respectively (group-2). In third group, only Cremophor-A25 was replaced with Poloxamer 188 compared to group-2. The self-emulsified physical freeze dried methods, respectively. All samples characterized X-ray diffraction, attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, differential scanning calorimeter, electron microscopy, solubility, dissolution, stability studies. diffraction pattern revealed complete crystalline, whereas mixture freeze-dried all three groups showed reduced peak intensities. spectroscopy spectra, C–H stretching vibrations masked samples, while representative 188. Differential calorimetry decreased melting endotherm increased enthalpy change () both mixtures groups. Scanning microscopy glassy appearance, size reduction, embedment, their reduction embedment excipients. group-1, solubility improved up 15 times, group-2 121 times increase but, group-3, when used instead 135 times. fasted state simulated gastric fluid at pH 1.6, the dissolution 12 substantially enhanced Hank’s balanced salt solution 7.4.
