摘要: Although pain and cognitive deficits are widespread debilitating symptoms of multiple sclerosis (MS), they remain poorly understood. Theiler's murine encephalomyelitis virus (TMEV) infection is an animal model MS where disease course exacerbated by prior stressors. Here chronic coupled with social stress increased behavior impaired hippocampal-dependent memory consolidation during the demyelinating phase in SJL mice. These results suggest that TMEV may be useful investigating impairments MS. However, contrast to Balb/cJ studies, failed consistently alter behavioral physiological indicators course.
