摘要: Summary During the first wave of an influenza pandemic prior to availability effective vaccine, healthcare workers (HCWs) may be at particular risk infection with novel strain. We conducted a cross-sectional study prevalence antibody A (H1N1) 2009 (pH1N1) among HCWs in Hong Kong February–March 2010 following wave. Sera collected from were tested for pH1N1 virus by viral neutralisation (VN). assessed factors associated higher titres, and we compared titres those separate community study. In total enrolled 703 HCWs. Among 599 who did not report receipt 12% had titre ≥1:40 VN. There no significant differences age-specific proportions unvaccinated general pH1N1. Under good adherence control guidelines, potential occupational exposures hospital setting appear any substantial excess Most low
