摘要: Some amorphous metals show a glass transition peak in linear heating differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) experiment before crystallisation occurs. The temperature at which this is observed function of the rate used DSC experiment. From dependence, an effective activation energy can be obtained using Kissinger analysis. literature suggests that kinetic phenomenon, caused by production and annihilation structural defects. Starting from equation describes change these defects, analytic expression derived for energy. found to have two contributions: one corresponds migration defects other related their equilibrium concentration. analysis shows relevance experimentally determining slope plot metals.
